Required Reading for A.C.T. ADD Coach Training

The following books will be referred to throughout  the modules, and specific sections will be required as background information for our discussions. There are other excellent books as well, mentioned in the bibliography you will receive with your course materials. We require these books specifically because they have already beautifully languaged some of the elements that we wish to point out in specific areas of the training.

As an ADD Coach, you will want these and many of the others on your personal bookshelf. To keep your initial investment low, we have chosen the following to refer to often because they are approachable, written in simple language and have great lists and descriptions of what you will encounter with your ADD clients.

ADHD Secrets of Success, Thom Hartmann, Wilson Harrell (Afterword)

Driven to Distraction, Edward M. Hallowell, John J. Ratey

You Mean I'm Not Lazy, Stupid Or Crazy, Kate Kelly, Peggy Ramundo
