ICF Certified AssociatesThe International Coach Federation (ICF) is the certifying body for the entire coaching profession. OFI's comprehensive A.C.T. Program has been designed so that Coaches with no previous experience will have completed 100% of the "coach specific training hours" required to be certified by ICF at the intermediate (PCC) certification level upon graduation.** Coaches must also demonstrate coaching fluency and document professional experience for certification application approval. While it is possible to obtain the required number of Coaching hours for certification by graduation, OFI requires fewer Coaching hours to graduate because some students do not have the time and focus to accumulate the ICF requirement until OFI classes and exams are behind them. A comparison of the A.C.T. Program and ICF Certification requirements can be downloaded in either of two documents: ICF certification and/or ICF certification detail (pdf format) ------- **Coaches with prior or additional coach training can combine them with the A.C.T. training hours for higher certification. NOTE: All ICF designations are generic coach certifications. Unfortunately, at this time there is no ADD-specific certification available. OFI's founder, Madelyn Griffith-Haynie, MCC, is one of 5 founding Board Members of the IAAC (Institute for the Advancement of ADD Coaching), formed specifically to CHANGE that reality!
