More About The Supplementals

Supplementals provide a menu of modules that have been designed to give our Associates more flexibility with scheduling as they train, and a greater exposure to the ADD Coaching community overall.

Supplementals increase the depth of the A.C.T. Program by augmenting the Core Content in a way that will add fluency and range to an ADD Coach's skill set, providing a greater variety of classes, class formats and a exposure to a greater variety of coaching styles and markets for ADD Coaching.

Unlike the Core Content Modules, with enrollment restricted to OFI Associates, Supplementals are open to enrollment by non-Associates.
With very few specific exceptions, as long as they have taken the Prerequisites, anyone who wants to enroll is welcome to take Supplementals, singly or in a series.

OFI Associates will find themselves in classes with a much greater variety of approaches to ADD Coaching itself, and with individuals who have interest in the material for reasons other than ADD Coach training.

  • Therapists who work with ADDers or who would like to
  • Parents and Partners of ADDers
  • Educators and trainers
  • Human Resource Managers
  • and ADDers from all walks of life who want to be able to "drive their own brain" more effectively.

Also different from the Core Content Modules, with a specific sequential structure and timing, Supplementals demonstrate A LOT of flexibility in several arenas.

  • Each session of a single Supplemental will take place on the same day at that same time on the same TeleBridge with the same people, but the next Supplemental may take place with an entirely different set of similar variables.
  • There is more flexibility in the structure of the format of each of the Supplementals:
    • some Supplementals consist of 3 hours, one per week
    • some contain 4 hours in the same format
    • others have only 2 hours in total
    • still others are 90-minute classes for 3 weeks over the course of three months, or two hours once a month
  • There is more flexibility in the nature of each Supplemental:
    • some Supplementals are required specifically
    • some Supplementals are elective
    • some Supplementals stand alone
    • some have Pre-Requisites
    • some are part of an entire series of topic-focused Supplementals
    • and some are available on once an Associate has graduated
  • There is more flexibility in the area of focus for each Supplemental, and further variety within each type of Supplemental:
    • there are ADD-focused Supplementals concentrating on a variety of areas
    • ADD Coaching Supplementals covering an even greater range
    • and a number of areas of content focus for Practice Management Supplementals
    • some Supplementals "count" as Coaching Labs
    • and other Supplementals fulfill requirements in several areas, allowing the student to choose how s/he wants to "count" them.
